In 2018 when we opened Meze Grill, my wife and i hoped to incorporate authentic Mediterranean cuisine into the Sun Prairie and Madison area. After working over 20 years in the restaurant industry, we want to share our culture and hospitality with those around us and be able to call a restaurant our own.
Covid-19 has, unfortunately, proved to be obstacle immensely difficult to handle without help. While we have been able to open an outdoor seating area to maximize tables, winter has made this impossible. With the %25 capacity regulation, we are only able to have 6 tables available in our dining area. This, along with keeping our partnership with expensive delivery service, has made it near impossible to keep up with payroll for our staff, as well as rent for our small space.
We know things are tight for everyone but anything you can give helps, even just sharing this with those you know.
