On November 9th, I’ll travel to Mexico for my second year of pilgrimage within the five-year cycle of study and service in the Wixárika (Huichol) lineage. This path is rooted in ancient, living tradition, a commitment to prayer, mutual respect and exchange, and direct learning from the elders who have carried these teachings forward for generations.

This pilgrimage is part of my ongoing responsibility and training. It’s not optional or recreational, it’s a continuation of a sacred agreement to show up, learn, and actively support the preservation of these ways.

This year has brought major life shifts and transformation. I lost my job unexpectedly under tragic circumstances, my housing came to an end, and my things moved into storage. I’ve been in full recalibration mode — clearing space for what’s next — and through it all, my commitment to this path remains steadfast.

This November, I’ll travel deep into the mountains of Mexico, to a small village that will serve as my home base for nearly ten days. There, I’ll spend multiple days in ceremony — fasting, creating offerings, and praying alongside my teachers and community. Afterward, we’ll journey to visit and commune with the sacred sites of the Wixárika, carrying and laying our offerings in reciprocity and devotion. This voyage is both a personal initiation and an act of collective prayer for the wellbeing of all life.

I’m raising $2,800 to cover travel, lodging, and ceremonial expenses. Within just one week, I’ve been able to earn $400 and secure my plane tickets, and I’m trusting that with community support, I can raise the remainder. I have a fast turnaround and need to raise as much as possible in the next week and a half, so even $20 or $30 makes a meaningful difference.

I’m available for remote work opportunities before or after my trip, and available to offer Sacred Transformation Sessions (bring your body, mind, and vision into alignment) in exchange for those who feel called to receive as well.
