I'm Kathy and hope you can help me reach my goal, or at least have a good start before I die.

I have terminal kidney disease and have been on dialysis for almost two years. Time is running out for me and because I now live in Michigan and my daughter lives off the grid in Alaska, I'm starting this fundraiser so maybe I can see her one more time while I'm alive. It has been over 5 years since I last saw her and the cost of flying and traveling has limited our visits.

After I'm gone there will be lots of expenses for her to get here, maybe several times, to settle my affairs.

The donations you're so kind in giving will go towards these expenses as well as cemetery charges, moving and storage of personal household belongings, getting items she may want to keep to Alaska, and the help she may have to hire to move things. The photos that I hope you enjoy are from my daughters place in Alaska.

I won't be here to help or advise her, and we both will rest much better knowing people like you are willing to help. It gives me great comfort to know, whether friends or strangers, that goodness is still a positive option, and I thank you and hope you are all blessed for your kindness.
