Brenda's Journey

She was counting the days 'til her wedding when life took an unexpected turn for Brenda. Instead of gathering the last few things and adding finishing touches, she was flown through the skies to Colorado and wheeled into surgery shortly after. What she thought was a stomach bug was actually something gone wrong inside that caused ischemic bowel. She underwent a procedure to remove most of her small intestine, followed by a month-long stay in the hospital. Now at the tail end of that stay, she is doing amazing considering where she came from.
