My UNICEF Grand Tour

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Anthony Knight and I'm seeking sponsorship for my UNICEF Grand Tour. I'm a 17-year-old violinist from Taunton School, on a concert tour of the most exclusive hotels in Europe, to raise funds for UNICEF. The afternoon recitals feature pieces by Telemann and Bach. I encourage guests to make a donation at unicef.org. I'm planning to visit twelve countries in one year.

On Saturday 5th August, I performed a recital in the Lobby Lounge of the Hotel Adlon Kempinski, Berlin and was greatly appreciated by the guests.

On Thursday 24th August, I performed a recital in the Lobby Lounge of The Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opera, where the manager had invited all his staff to attend. Camille Fidele, Deputy Director of Sales messaged: 'The Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opera team is grateful for the beautiful musical moment you have offered us last week. We wish Anthony a very successful future!'

On Wednesday 25th October, I performed in the Lobby Bar of Albergo Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo, San Marco, one of the oldest hotels in Venice, dating from 1308. As you can see, it's situated right next to a gondola station! A clip of the Moderato from Telemann's Fantasia no. 12:

For the Baltic leg of my Tour, I performed in the Lobby Lounge of Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga on Monday 11th December and the Lobby Lounge of Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius on Thursday 14th December.

For the Central European leg of my Tour, I performed in the Lobby Lounge of Palais Hansen Kempinski, Vienna on Monday 12th February 2024; the Winter Garden Atrium of Aria Hotel Prague on Thursday 15th; and the Living Room of Kempinski Hotel Corvinus, Budapest on Saturday 17th.

The final leg of my sponsored UNICEF Grand Tour will be to the Benelux Countries plus Switzerland from 14th till 23rd July.

When I started my sponsored UNICEF Grand Tour, I was 17 years old, so not old enough to transfer funds. The minimum age is 18.
Instead I'm using my Dad's (Paul Knight) bank account to transfer funds.
Some of these funds are being used to pay for the expenses of my sponsored UNICEF Grand Tour.
The surplus will be sent by my Dad to https://www.unicef.org.uk/donate/
