On July 3rd at 2:30 AM Dan Metzler awakened to the sound of breaking glass. Dan had been a volunteer firefighter for over 15 years and knew immediately what needed to be done. He and his wife Erika grabbed their two children to escape the flames that would soon consume their home. 

Dan not only served as a volunteer firefighter for many but also as chief of Martins Corner Fire Company located in Chester County Pennsylvania. Dan routinely risked his life over those 15+ years for his community while Erika supported him in his passion to serve other fully knowing the dangers he would face. I truly cant say enough about this hard working family who continue to serve their community, neighbors and church in so many ways.  

In the midst of such loss, Dan and Erika are praising God for protecting their family, for the love and support they have of family, friends and their church family. Please join me in supporting this family as they begin the recovery process from such incredible loss.
