On Monday August 10th while I was at work, my dog and best bud Metta fell from the third floor window of my apartment after jumping onto a table, and pushing on the window, accidentally opening it. 
He was rushed to DTLA vets where he was treated for a few abrasions and given x-rays which showed that he had suffered roughly five fractures in his elbow. After speaking to a few different veterinarians and surgeons about the procedure, i gathered that the best option for us is to go through with a surgery to repair his elbow. However, I'm being told that this will cost between $4,000 - $5,000 due to the type of repair that would have to be done.  These estimates do not include aftercare expenses and the treatment I have already paid for.  The alternative to surgery is an amputation, which I really don't want to consider yet.

Any help towards moving forward with this operation would mean the world to Metta and I. I really couldn't imagine life without this guy's playful demeanor, and I'm incredibly lucky to still have him with me after his fall.
