As MetroKids is closed because of COVID-19, the teachers and staff were laid off and had to file for unemployment. Unfortunately due to the high rate in applicants for unemployment there has been some delays in distributing unemployment benefits and stimulus checks. Therefore we would like to set up a fund to help them during these times, and thank them for the love and support they have provided for our children. This fundraising effort has nothing to do with the administration of Metrokids Preschool or the company- it is independently organized and managed by the teachers and classroom staff. We will collect and then distribute it across all the the staff members. We know that the current times are uncertain and unsettling, so please give what you can. It is just a small way to help those who love our children during this difficult time. Ali Jorge (teacher for duckling classroom) will assist  Kiara white (teacher for penguin classroom) in evenly distributing funds at earliest convience to all Metrokids staff via Cash app and Zelle Thank you, and please be safe with your families.
