Hello,
Our daughter Havallah Anne Helm decided to make an extremely early entrance into our lives at 3:07 a.m. Saturday morning 2-7-2015. She blessed our lives at a whopping 1 lb 8 oz. We were told that 25 weeks is right on the edge of a "viable" delivery. Because of the amazing help we received from the staff at Mercy Hospital she was immediately invited into the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Right now she is in the best care we could hope for. The first 96 hours were the scariest. She has made it a whole week this morning! Looking forward, she has quite a few obstacles to overcome, however, we have been blessed by the amazing support and empathy from our family, friends, and community. I am writing this "campaign description" to once again ask for your thoughts and prayers. We have received such a positive overwhelming response in support of our little warrior princess.....I just want to say thank you.

Even though we have insurance and had planned for our baby, we were absolutely unprepared for having a premature birth. As we began to look at our first major medical bills (starting with the life-flight helicopter ride), we realized how much we needed help. Our support from this site will go towards the ongoing expenses of keeping Havallah in the neonatal intensive care unit as well as our medical debt that insurance does not cover. Once again we would like to thank you for your support.
