Metaxý: Preserving Heritage. Support Athena's Capstone Film

We are raising funds for Athena Stamatopoulos' senior capstone film, a documentary about navigating identity as a first generation American.

Titled Metaxý, Stamatopoulos will interview her family members living in the United States as well as family still living in the villages of Amfikleia and Dimitropoulo. All with the goal of connecting to the roots of her identity through tradition and a journey into her grandparents past; painting a portrait of how cultural heritage is passed down and transformed across generations.

To achieve the full creative vision of Metaxý, we are asking for donations to reach our goal of $700. The funds will be used to finance plane tickets to Greece, gas, food and car rental.
