Mom has been battling breast cancer since 2017 when she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She underwent chemotherapy, radiation, and a mastectomy. They said they got it all, but in 2020 we learned it was back and in her spine. She had been fighting to keep working as a social worker for the elderly ans disabled. Unfortunately in 2023, she had multiple complications including emergency surgery and more radiation. We quickly realized she was unable to return to work. 

Despite her being on disability and me having a full time job, the cost of medical care has quickly depleted both of our savings.
