Metasota's New Computer and Music Equipment

First of all, I would like to say hello and thank you to anyone that's taken the time out of their lives to read this. It is vastly appreciated. My name is Larry, though most of you know me by my stage name Metasota. I uh... I've fought with myself for almost 3 months about doing this or not. I've asked people whose opinions I trust and value and the general consensus was to "put your pride aside and allow people to help you." So... here we go.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to acquire a new laptop so I can get to work again. I've been without for almost 4 months and though I've tried to look at this time positively, it's been hell. As many of you know, I moved to Houston almost 5 years ago to become a full-time caregiver for my mother after she suffered a stroke. I packed up my life, everything I know, and left my son just as I was getting to know him in 8 days.

I don't get paid or get any extra assistance, so this is every day. Making music was my therapy as well as my means of income. I haven't been able to do feature verses for artists or create/sell beats. Being able to be creative while fighting cabin fever regularly has kept me sane and given me a sense of productivity and importance. This is all I have.

The amount I'm asking for will cover a new laptop, Ableton DAW/plug-ins (mixing equipment), a midi keyboard, and the money to recover the drive of my old computer (I don't want to lost over 4 years of music I've made since living in Texas).

If you can help, it would mean the world to me. If you can't, that's okay. All I ask is that you share this with someone you think could help.

One thing I can promise is that your contributions will not be in vain. I'll be creating IMMEDIATELY- finishing EPs and my album that's been in limbo for far too long. Any artists that contribute will be discounted on any work we do in the future as a way to show my gratitude.
