**** UPDATE ****

So here we are! Just a few weeks shy of the release of my first music project, Tsunami, and I couldn't be more excited - nervous, yet still oh so excited! SO many thoughts but I'll keep this brief as I can be super long-winded. Thank you to everyone who has donated to my campaign as I couldn't have gotten this far without your love and support! So much has transpired in the three years since this page was created and here is a snapshot:  

1. Released two music singles and videos, Metamorphosize and Soul, respectively;
2. Performed on the Walmart stage at Essence Festival in 2016;
3. Performed as the musical inspiration twice at the Agape International Spiritual Center,
4. And more!

I know it was because of the strength of your love and prayers that these opportunities unfolded and for that, I am eternally grateful! This has been a whirlwind of a journey and I wouldn't change anything about it except believing in myself a bit more and a lot sooner.

I have reactivated this page as I approach the release of this project (that I FEEL SO DARN GOOD ABOUT) to help with the marketing and promotions (i.e. social media ads, merchandising), distribution, and final production of Tsunami. If you feel inspired to donate anything, please do! You will receive a signed CD as well as other goodies from me as a thank you! Let's circulate love, healing and feel good vibes; it's time!

The Backstory:

When I was around six months old, I sung the words to the first song I’d ever sing. I was clothed in a onesie with a Huggies diaper wrapped tightly around my waist, scooting along the carpet singing “Say Say Say” by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney. I’ve loved music, especially singing, all my life. I’ve had periods in my life where I’ve questioned my gift and ability to inspire people through my music, but the love for it never left. I’m so glad that after decades of doubt that I’ve finally given myself permission to own and step into my music. I had a moment towards the end of 2014 that has been with me ever since the words shot across my mind: I cannot die with music inside of me. There is music inside of me, waiting to be heard, and I must get it out. That thought alone shifted the conversation I had been having with myself around my gift.

I have been blessed to be guided to an amazing group of musicians, producers, songwriters, and engineers (shout out to J. Mosley, Ted Stanley, SuperDay, Emmanuel Brillant, and Darell "Red" Campbell) and am happy to share that I am finally working on my first EP album!  To say I’m excited is an understatement and I’m struggling to find a word that captures what I’m feeling. I hope you can feel my heart pulsating wildly through these sentences.

I know that I cannot do this alone and I need the assistance from my village (that includes YOU!) to birth and nurture what will be the most important creative child I’ve conceived. I am asking for your prayers, positivity, ears and financial donations. All monies collected will go towards covering production of the EP, the musicians fees, CD printing, marketing plan, music registration fees, and fees collected by gofundme to run this campaign.
