Located in Denver, Colorado, Meta Burger is a 100% plant-based, fast-casual restaurant specializing in innovative burgers, hot dogs and desserts. Meta Burger is more than just the newest iteration of the fast-casual experience, it is a brand new concept that will alter the public’s perception of ethical restaurants. The concept is built on three pillars that will guide its inevitable success; scalability, efficiency and simplicity. Meta Burger is ready to serve as an inspirational glimpse into the life of plant-based food for omnivores and as a staple for both vegetarians and vegans.
After over two years of planning, menu testing, construction and headaches, Meta Burger will be opening in the summer of 2018 (with your help!). The goal of Meta Burger is to share our delicious Plant-Based American Classics with everyone as quickly as possible, starting in Colorado and expanding quickly throughout the southern and central United States.
Located at 7950 E Mississippi Ave in Denver, Colorado, the space has been under construction for over 6 months and is very close to being ready for our grand opening. We are currently seeking the last little bit of funding we need in order to begin taking your order. The $10,000 we need will help pay for our 2 freezers, stainless steel tables and our initial food order. We are hoping to raise this money before July 1, but the sooner we get the funds, the sooner we can open.
We have raised over $150,000 and emptied our personal bank accounts to make our dream come true, but have run into a myriad of issues including getting permits for an abused restaurant space, issues with our original contractor, unforeseen damage inside the space and broken equipment both on the roof and inside the space. Through a lot of will and determination (and caffeine), we were able to find solutions to these problems and redo the entire space to be brand new and just need a little push this summer to open our doors.
The menu we have developed bridges the gap between plant-based eaters and the general public by offering the American classics we all know and love. From the classic burger with cheese, tomato, lettuce and pickle to our wilder creations like a burger with mac and cheese and bacon bits, we have constructed an inclusive menu which appeals to a broad range of individuals with the hope that we can change the public's perception of what plant-based food can be.
Ever since we came up with this idea more than two years ago we have been driven by the positive change this company represents. We see the world coming to a crossroads where environmental and ethical concerns will cause massive changes in the way the world operates, and we see this company as a pioneer on this journey.
