Mesonephric-like endometrial cancer - rare
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Basia. I was recently diagnosed with endometrial cancer. My hysterectomy was supposed to be my cure, but the pathology found that there were cancer cells in some of my lymph nodes and were very aggressive and so rare the surgeon had never seen it before. Mesonephric - like. Only 50 cases. There is no traditional therapy like chemo or radiation that will work. To make matters worse, I have also been diagnosed with a newly researched condition called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, a condition responsible for my being diagnosed with everything from fibromyalgia and Hashimoto to POTS and "we can't find anything, so it must be in your head" over the last 20 years. With these increased sensitivities triggering bodily reactions, medications are a challenge, especially chemotherapy. This wonderful country, however, does offer some astonishingly successful alternative therapies, in particular one that targets only the cancer and doesn't toxify the rest of the body. Amazing. Unfortunately, no insurance will cover these therapies which are hugely expensive. I just can't afford it. I never imagined I would be in this position. I emigrated from Poland in my twenties with nothing. This beautiful country and the compassionate people I met, gave me every opportunity to get educated and to work. I learned the meaning of being honest and to help anyone who struggled like I did. It just felt good. I am now so afraid. I am crying all the time. I need your help and support. I want to share my experiences to try to make it easier for others in my position and give them hope. My deepest desire is to still believe that this amazing, adopted and profoundly loved country with the most generous and good- hearted people in the world, will help save my life. I have very little time left. I have no other options. I love God, I love you America, I love you all. Please save me.
