Urgent Plea for Life-Saving Surgery: Help Jessica Remove Toxic Surgical Mesh

Hello, my name is Jessica, and for over 25 years, I’ve proudly worked as a dedicated cosmetologist and entrepreneur. The photos above show a stark contrast—before and after the surgery that changed everything. Today, I’m reaching out with an urgent, heartfelt plea: I need your help to raise $20,000 to $25,000 for a critical mesh removal surgery that could save my life.

How It Started: A Routine Surgery Gone Terribly Wrong

In May 2023, I underwent what I believed was a simple hernia repair. Instead, it marked the beginning of a devastating medical nightmare. Without my knowledge of the risks, surgical mesh was implanted into my body—and it’s now poisoning me from the inside out.

As months passed, my health deteriorated rapidly. Doctors were stumped, calling it a “severe allergy,” but the truth was far more alarming. The mesh was triggering systemic inflammation and wreaking havoc on every part of my body.

I was prescribed Dupixent, but it made me worse. The side effects and withdrawal were so severe that I lost all my hair and experienced unbearable symptoms.

Living in a Body That’s Turning Against Me

Over the last year, my condition has grown critical:

• I’ve made four emergency room visits in a single year.

• On my last visit, my body was so swollen from water retention, they couldn’t find my veins.

• My skin is now covered in severe eczema, making every movement agonizing.

• No moisturizer or medication helps—my skin rejects everything.

I’ve become partially bedridden, unable to work regular hours or maintain my business.

This isn’t just uncomfortable. It’s life-threatening.

The Only Hope: A Complex, Multi-Surgeon Mesh Removal

After a year and a half of fighting for answers and care, I finally found a plastic surgeon who understands my condition and is capable of performing this high-risk mesh removal. This surgery will involve three surgeons, as the mesh has now fused with my internal tissues, making removal extremely delicate and dangerous.

The estimated cost is $20,000 to $25,000.

The lead surgeon does not accept insurance, and his portion is the most expensive.

The other two surgeons are covered, but I cannot afford this alone.

Why I Need Your Help

Because of my health, I can no longer maintain my full salon hours. My business has suffered, and my savings are completely gone. I’m now struggling to afford basic living expenses—let alone this surgery.

I’ve exhausted every option. I waited out of fear and uncertainty, but I no longer have time to wait. My doctor’s words were, “He wanted it out yesterday.”

Raising Awareness: Mesh Complications Are Real

I also want to use my experience to warn others: if you’re facing hernia surgery, advocate for natural tissue repair. Surgical mesh has harmed so many people that there are ongoing class-action lawsuits. I may pursue legal options later, but right now, my only priority is saving my life.

How You Can Help

Every donation—big or small—makes a difference. Even if you can’t give financially, sharing this message can help me reach others who might be able to.

Please consider donating and sharing my story. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your time, your compassion, and your support.

With love and gratitude,
Jessica
