God has put it on my heart to serve with the Believers World Outreach (BWO) team in Uganda this summer.  During this mission trip our team will love on orphans, spread the gospel to those in rural villages, bring healing through medical clinics, teach sanitation classes, and supply water filters.

You ask: “Meryl, why go again?”  My answer: “I see the need.”  When I went to Uganda two years ago, I saw many things that would shock those living in America.  At one of the orphanages, 40 kids were squeezed into one tiny room where they were to sleep on metal bunkbeds without mattresses.  Some of these young children and babies had been neglected by their family members and were left on the street to survive.  Also, we learned that many people are dehydrated.  The village people are only drinking one cup of purified water a day.  The list goes on...

God has made it part of my mission to go back to Uganda and help a broken country discover the love of Jesus.
