Hi, I'm Emma and I'm fundraising for my mom, Meryl.

My mother has lived through one trauma after another her whole life. We all know how strong of a woman she is. She has been able to make the best of it and soldier on through the challenges, always with a smile and that beautiful, positive energy that she is capable of emitting. Unfortunately, Meryl is now facing the most challenging test of her life. She is currently experiencing a mental, emotional, and physical breakdown. She has had severe insomnia for 3 months now. She has tried all the options available to her through her health insurance to try and deal with her current state. But nothing has worked so far. Meryl's family is getting together to find a solution to this emergency. We hope that we will be able to raise funds to help Meryl get the quality care she is in desperate need of. There are two different in-house therapy facilities that we want to try next. One is in California and one is in Taos, where her daughter Emma lives. Unfortunately, they cost way more than we can afford. The first one is 10,000, and the second is 5,000.

I am hoping that this GoFundMe reaches the people who either know my mother, and want to help, or can relate to how painful it is to not be able to receive the medical treatment you need because you can not afford good health insurance. The funds will be used to help pay for the two medical facilities.
