Dear family and friends

I hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for support for my dear friend and co-worker Jerilynn Magee. Unfortunately, Jerilynn's son Mervin Magee lost his life at the hands of gun violence. While out enjoying the festivities of Mardi Gras with his mother, a senseless act of violence ended his precious life. I can't imagine the hurt his mother and family are experiencing. It is traumatic to lose a loved one, but to lose her only son is that much more traumatic.

Please, if you can find it in your heart to donate to help ease some of the financial responsibilities that comes alone with giving Jerilynn's son a proper burial. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to our target and makes a significant difference. We understand that times can be tough for everyone, but any assistance you can provide will be immensely appreciated.
