Our Merritt Island High School Boys and Girls lacrosse teams are in dire need of a storage shed.  We are self-funded and operate through the Friends of Brevard Lacrosse, which is a 501c3 non-profit organization.  Previously, the storage and practice field were across the street from the school at Gardendale.  Due to changes in the area, the field is no longer usable and the storage area frequently gets broken into.  

Thankfully, both teams now practice at the high school.  However, they have no place for storage.  Coaches and coordinators are storing items at their homes, which includes containers of uniforms, sticks, balls, goalie gear, practice gear, etc.  The bigger equipment is left outside in the elements. This includes 8 goals and 2 rebounders. A lacrosse shed is desperately needed.

We have approval for a shed on the school grounds. The total cost will be  approx. $5,900.  

We do fundraising throughout the season for uniforms, banquets and buses. However, this is a much more costly item that is needed before our season starts up again.   

We are in need of this shed as soon as possible.  We hope with your financial support we can order it and have it in place before the upcoming school year begins.
