Mermaid Atlantic - Surfers Against Sewage

Three friends from the Isle of Wight, all alike in ambition, are undertaking the ultimate ocean encounter in 2023. The mission is two-fold, firstly to communicate the detrimental effect of waste items on the ocean, polluting the water, damaging ecosystems and threatening marine life. The second is to raise awareness of the power of seagrass and the role it plays in combating the climate crisis as well as providing habitats to marine life.

Surfers Against Sewage is a national marine conservation and campaigning charity that inspires, unites and empowers communities to take action to protect oceans, beaches, waves and wildlife.

The money you donate to SAS will help fund beach cleans across the country, their Safer Seas Service which continually monitors sewage spills in real-time and campaigning to save the oceans from pollution and waste.
