Merlot’s FFS Recovery

Hi all ! I am a 29 year old trans woman in NYC who is undergoing Facial Feminization Surgery on August 16th. This opportunity came about much sooner than I expected, as the surgeon had an opening a few months earlier than anticipated. That being said, I am so grateful to have the community resources and availability to be able to cover the costs of the procedure itself, but I will have to take two months off of work and off the grid. I have to pay for 3 months of rent and travel back and forth for many doctor appointments while being unable to bring in any additional funds, and because it’s all happening so fast I haven’t had the time to adequately save.
