Our Mother Merle Noel transitioned to be with God.
Merle fought a hard fight, but she was a fighter; she refused to give up no matter what she faced. Her faith was so strong; she believed that only God had the final say.
As Merle was on a waitlist for a heart transplant when her body succumbed to the tireless and relentless wait, where she then suffered from two brain aneurysms.
She leaves behind 4 children: Micah, Bernice, Kennedy, and Christal. And two grandchildren Bella and Branden.
Merle had one of the kindest, loving, and God-fearing spirits to come by!
She is what we like to call love in human form. She could and most definitely would make a friend anywhere and everywhere she went. She led with love as the center of her soul compass. She believed being good made the world better and the people around her better. She had one of those spirits that once you crossed paths with her she was hard to forget. She had that effect on people. Whether she opened her heart for conversation and empathy, her house if you needed a place to stay, or her voice to offer words of wisdom she knew how to leave her mark.
In her final days, as her body began to get tired she shared her final wishes.
1. To have a proper burial.
2. To finish the final work on a family home.
Merle was a single mom who had worked many jobs from being a nanny, cleaning houses, and working as a bathroom mall attendant along with many others. She always managed to make a way.... Taking care of her children, her bills, and somehow still trying to always help others. She spent years trying to save and build this home. And although she came close she never got to finish it. For her this home felt like the final piece to an unsolved puzzle and that all her hard work was not for nothing.
We are beyond grateful for any donations made. We understand where the economy currently stands. So whether it's a dollar or a share we genuinely and wholeheartedly appreciate anything and everything. We thank you in advance for helping us in carrying out our mother's final wishes in any way that you can. Thank you.
We wanted to offer as much full transparency as possible but we also ask for some privacy at this time as everything has happened so quickly. And we are still processing things as they go.
