I need help with Zoey. I have never asked for anything like this. Zoey's owner Merle died by suicide in 2010 and I have loved her and cared for her for the past 10 years since. She is the last connection I have to Merle and my created family. She had an accident with a larger dog and I paid for her right back leg to be fixed $2,900.00 about two years ago she healed well after therapy and moist heat packs. Now Zoey has torn tendons from jumping off steps and furniture and older wear and tear. Zoey needs another surgery, she cannot use her back left leg, it's $2,800.00. I have the surgery scheduled for Nov 25 with Plumstead Animal Hospital. I booked this knowing I have two months to fix this. I don't have the extra cash as of late and cannot get care credit since Merles her original owners untimely suicide. I am freelance now and have been working on a project that has left me too low on funds to cover this surgery.
Zoey has outlived my three Tibetan Mastiffs, my horse, my home with Merle and my life partner. She is a fighter, she is a blessing and she is a real bit of magic that Merle brought into my life.
I need her okay. If I don't do a go fund me now she will have to wait for surgery . I figured with 5,000.00 followers even if people gave just a dollar we could raise the money.
Here's my offer, anyone who can help Zoey get her surgery can get styling / fashion phone time with me. We can work via skype or e-mail or a styling meeting together. I don't expect to receive your kindness for Zoey without and opportunity to give back to you.
The largest donor to Merles dog will receive a 20x30 inch landscape or beach metallic print from the archives of Merle Allen Photography. The photos are precious and heartfelt and I know Merle would be okay with me sharing this gift for help with Zoey.
