Hello! My name is Merin Blake, I am 14 years old and I love being outside. Swimming in Lake Champlain, exploring Red Rocks, or just sitting in my backyard are some of my favorite things to be doing. I want to work to protect the planet I love.

This summer, I have the chance to attend a program in the British Virgin Islands that focuses on environmental science, wildlife conservation, and marine restoration through service learning. It's an amazing opportunity to learn from people in the field, meet peers from all over with similar interests, and do some hands-on work.
