Meridith’s Quest to March in NYC

Hello,

My name is Alex and this fundraiser is all about my fiancé, Meridith. She is currently working her tail off as a 4-6th grade music teacher in Topeka, Kansas; enriching the lives of students there one day at a time. She has been incredibly fortunate enough receive a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Meridith has been selected to march in the Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC in November of 2023!! She will be joined by several other band directors across the country, giving her access to invaluable resources and lifelong stories to tell.

Much like a lot of great things in this world, things need to be paid for. This is where we need some help. I am reaching out for the both of us to provide some fund assistance to help make this trip possible. By providing any sort of donation, Meridiths dream of marching in front of thousands and millions more on TV will be reality.

These funds will go towards general trip expenses that will be paid for to the organization hosting Meridith and her fellow band members. This includes travel, tour guides, food, etc.
