Meria Barmore

Meria was recently in an ATV accident that left her several injuries. Multiple Spinal fractures, a crushed pelvis, collapsed/bleeding lung, and they said she has contusions to her kidneys and carotid arteries.

Meria was life flighted to Dothan then transferred to UAB. She’s intubated and lightly sedated, but is stable and able to write to communicate with family. She’s had one surgery so far and another scheduled within 24 hours. She is looking at an extensive hospital stay with a very long road to recovery.

Meria is a single mother to 3 kids and works 3 jobs to make ends meet. Her kids are her world. She will be out of work for some time and we know that the thought of not being able to provide for them during that time will be a heavy burden for her.

We know that even with insurance, lengthy hospital stays are expensive and thats not including travel back and forth for her children, food and monthly living expenses.
