Chimere’s Angels On Earth!!

Hi, My name is Latasha Lacy and I am fundraising for a special angel in heaven,  my cousin Chimere. Sadly Chimere transitioned on Sunday July 24,2022.

In April 2018, just eight months after Chimere wed her loving husband Scott she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Her oncologist had a plan in place and she immediately began chemo therapy in May. Chimere began attending treatments every other week. Throughout this time she continued to thrive and work a full time job. Over the past year Chimere’s diagnoses required her to be adjusted today weekly. As one could imagine the treatments where extensive and intense on her body which forced her to retire to focus on her health. 

Today we found out that because she had to retire from her job to focus on her health it ultimately ended her insurance policy with her job. It was determined by the funeral home this week that Her second insurance policy didn’t meet the minimum maturity requirements. So they will not honor the policy and pay for the expense. 

As many of you know Chimere’s husband resigned from his Job so that he could  take care of her full time. So we are asking at this time for donations to pay with the onset cost of the arrangements for Chimere.
