To our friends and family, we are thankful for all of your prayers.
On March 26, 2021, our healthy, 22-year-old daughter Meredith had a subarachnoid stroke and was taken to the emergency room that morning. She was immediately transferred to Kaiser Neuro Center in Redwood City Hospital to be monitored on the neurology floor for (4)  days. After a CT and MRI scan, Meredith's neurosurgeon confirmed congenital arteriovenous malformation that had ruptured and that an AVM resection was the best course of action.

Between her hospital discharge on March 29th and her surgery, Meredith has been to the ER on two additional occasions. On May 11, Meredith went through an eight-hour craniotomy and angiogram. We are overwhelmed and relieved to report that her surgery was successful, and she is currently at home recovering in high energy and spirits.

To our friends and family, we are so grateful for your prayers and continued support; we know that we have witnessed a miracle through this experience. We also know that asking for help at any time is never easy, however if you feel called to give anything means everything. Meredith will have several medical expenses due soon that we are trying our best to cover in light of the past few months she has endured. All donations will go toward her surgical expenses and medical leave of absence from her current employment as she continues to heal.
