Meredith's Strokes and Seizures

Discovered unresponsive on the bathroom floor by her daughter, Meredith has been in the ICU over a week. The hospital has been running every test and lab imaginable trying to figure out how to prevent the recurring strokes and seizures she has been experiencing. The doctors have no timeline on how long her stay will be until she is stable and ready to be released. Her diagnosis is still being determined. Meredith’s current state of health has caused both she and Brandon, her husband, to miss multiple days of work. Meredith will likely be restricted from driving for at least six months after discharge. The family is also anticipating multiple medical appointments, therapies, and extensive medical bills once she is home. Regaining her health will require even more time off from work for both Meredith and Brandon.
