Love for Meredith and Ruth

I have created a gofundme to help support my family Meredith Stovall and Ruth during this time after the loss yesterday of their loving husband and father to Ewing’s sarcoma a rare childhood cancer. Meredith is a registered nurse like many of my friends and has worked on an oncology floor weekend nights during this journey to be with him as much as possible. She was by his side day and night. They need our love and support. Any money that is donated I will ensure will go directly to help Meredith and Ruth thank you to everyone who has already given to them.
Meredith and I are cousins (essentially sisters) her husband Tyler passed away yesterday after battling cancer for over 4 years and is now in Heaven- I am asking that if you are able to give anything to help Meredith and Ruth- out through these trying times it is very much appreciated. If you are not financially able to give I am asking that you please remember to keep Meredith and Ruth Ann in your prayers. Meredith has been so selfless during this entire journey. She is an excellent mother and I want to see them taken care of during this time.

Tyler Stovall and his wife Meredith were living their fairytale dream after finding out in January 2014 they were expecting their first baby. Just 3 weeks later, their excitement was cut short by a devastating phone call from Tyler's doctor telling him that he had Ewings Sarcoma, a rare form of childhood cancer. Tyler's journey started with a year of chemo, 9 weeks of radiation, and surgery. Tyler hardly missed any work and never complained or asked for help from anyone. After a year of treatment, Tyler achieved remission. Life seemed to settle down and they began to have a normal life again with their precious little angel, Ruth Ann. But the battle wasn't over yet. At Tyler's 9 month scans he found out the cancer was back and so the fight began again! After receiving 5 rounds of chemo, a scan revealed the tumors were still growing. But by God's glory, he was accepted into an immunotherapy clinical trial that most people know as the "Jimmy Carter Study." As of yesterday Tyler was called to Heaven.
