Our beloved 25 year employee from our Nordstrom Montgomery Kids department, Mercy Merrick has passed away today in her home surrounded by her family.  Mercy fought a hard battle with cancer (and those that know her know what a fighter she is).  She is at peace now, but the family needs our support.  Mercy's daughter, Maylin is also a treasured 17 year employee in our Service Experience department. At this time, we would love to support Mercy's family in any way that we can.  Any amount that you can give would be greatly appreciated as we try to help the family through this difficult time. 

Mercy was a 16 year pacesetter and all star with our store.  She was feisty and passionate and had many customers that came to our store just to see her.  She was the rock star of our Kids Wear Boys department and has touched so many lives by dressing children for their important life events.  She was also a mentor to so many in the store and her presence will be missed.  Her service and commitment to our store and community is legendary.

Our thoughts are with Mercy's family and our hope is that her extended Nordstrom family can come together and help.
