Mercury Justice for Grassy Narrows

The devastating mercury crisis in Grassy Narrows First Nation has persisted for decades. Join us as we take action for mercury justice and demand:

> Compensate everyone in Grassy Narrows!
> Build the Mercury Home now!

This June, we will be travelling to Toronto for the River Run March to raise public awareness about our struggle for justice and water protection. But we need your support to make this happen!

Donate now to help our community members travel 1,700km from Grassy Narrows to Toronto!

94% of Grassy Narrows people get no compensation for the intense impacts of the ongoing mercury crisis on our health, culture, and livelihood.

In November of 2017, then-minister Jane Philpott committed to build and operate a Mercury Survivors Home and Care Center in Grassy Narrows. But only 1% of the cost to build the facility has flowed and the project is stalled. Meanwhile, Grassy Narrows people continue to die early due to mercury poisoning, while others suffer without the specialized care and support that they need.

Your support today will help us continue our fight to protect our rights and the water, air, land and creatures that we all depend on.

See you in June!
