Mercury has had a hard life. His previous owner was not experienced in the breed and so, couldnt handle him. She allowed her vet to severely over vaccinate him, which has caused physical, mental & emotional issues.
When the previous owner could no longer deal with the issues she created in the dog, she relinquished Mercury, and he came to be with me.
Through many tests, and vet bills, I have been fortunate in that I have neen able to fix many issues.
However, our last vet appt. has turned up some things that need more money than I can fund.
Mercury needs to see specialists to determine what is causing him so much trouble.
We know the vaccines have destroyed his immune system, but there is also a very rare issue that almost NEVER occurs in dogs.
Its going to be at least $150 JUST FOR THE CONSULTATION.... and that does not include "finding" or "fixing" what is wrong. That is just to meet the specialist.
I dont want any one to donate if they cannot spare it. But if you can, every penny helps.
