Merci's Pyometra Surgery

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart and asking for help during one of the scariest times I’ve faced with my dog. My beautiful 6-year-old girl, Merci has recently become very sick. She’s been lethargic, refusing to eat, and tests at the vet revealed a dangerously high white blood cell count. We’ve been told she is suffering from pyometra — a serious and life-threatening infection in her uterus that requires emergency surgery.

As much as it hurts me to admit, I’m struggling financially and the cost of this surgery is something I can’t afford in one payment.Estimates were anywhere from $1,000 to $2,500, depending on how serious it is and how quickly she can get the care she needs, turns out it is going to cost $4000. I’ve applied for every program I can, and I’m trying to work with my vet and the Farley Foundation, but there’s a chance those funds may not be enough or may not come through in time.

Merci isn’t just a pet — she’s my best friend, my shadow, and my family. She’s been by my side through everything, and now she needs me more than ever. I’m doing everything I can to fight for her
