Hello Friends,

As you have heard, our dear friend David Mercer has been diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. While his prognosis is hopeful, his course of treatment has involved a year's worth of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.

Unfortunately, that level of medical attention is expensive and the bills pile up quickly.

Mercer is currently in Boston under the excellent care of the fine folks at Brigham and Women's Hospital, following a successful transplant surgery at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Let's brighten his day and show him how much we care by reaching or exceeding our goal so we can take some of the burden off of his shoulders. He could really use the support of friends like you to see him through to the other side of cancer.
