Mercedez's Cancer-Crushing Campaign

First off, thank you so much for taking the time to read my campaign. Mercedez has recently been diagnosed with an inoperable aggressive astrocytoma tumor within her brain stem. All of this has happened in the span of the last few weeks. I am setting up this page to help her and her family with ANY and ALL expenses they will encounter during this journey to help their little girl fight this!

I am Mercedez's teacher at the moment, but I have known her and her family for many years. Mercedez is a bright and cheerful girl who brings smiles to her classmate's faces. She is always the one showing up with tokens and gifts for classmates and teachers; often times for no reason other than to earn a smile or two. Our school's staff and students are rallying behind her and love is pouring through for her strength and healing!

I know it takes a community to fight cancer, and I am hoping this campaign can help us reach beyond our immediate walls and contacts. My wish is for her family to be free from the burden of expenses so that they can focus on Mercedez.
