Hello, I’m Mary and my fur daughter's name is Mercedes. She is my world, my family, my daughter's protection, and my sweetheart. I love this dog so very much. My stepdad brought her to me all the way from G.A to Charlotte, NC. She was 7 weeks old. Now she's 8 years old. My baby girl needs your help; we, her parents, need your support to give my daughter an expensive surgery. That’s going to cost $3200. Mercedes was diagnosed with the patellar of the knee and she needs surgery to fix it. And we are in desperate financial need. She’s hopping on three legs and she holds her hurt leg up. She’s on prednisone and an inflammatory pain medication daily for pain. It seems like it’s helping, but as soon as we go for her daily walk, Mercedes is back in pain, hopping on all three legs. So her veterinarian doesn’t recommend any activity, and she’s becoming depressed and sad. It is so hard to see a happy pup full of energy and running around, me chasing her. I miss her enjoying her life. With the help from you all, I know my furry parents will probably have a soft spot for her, mommy, and daddy. I will give an update on her surgery and take pictures of her surgery day and recovery, just to show I’m doing good by her. And the generosity, help, love, and kindness from everyone.
