If you have ever stepped foot in United for Success Academy in the last decade (or MLA before that), you've met and been welcomed by Ms. Eva Lomeli and Ms. Johanna Lomeli. They are the amazing sister duo that greet and support every student, family member and staff in more ways that we could list, and with more warmth, love and care than any words could capture. And if you happen to know Eva or Johanna from another context, I'm sure this all sounds familiar and you love and appreciate them too.

Their loving mother, Mercedes Lomeli, passed unexpectedly on November 14. She was a strong, amazing, and beautiful woman. She was selfless when it came to helping other people in need. She was a mother, a wife, and a grandmother, but overall, she was an exceptional woman! Her husband, 4 children, and 8 grandchildren love and miss her dearly, as do all her family and friends who have had the gift of knowing her. The Lomeli family would appreciate contributions to support funeral expenses.

Su amada madre, Mercedes Lomeli, falleció inesperadamente el 14 de noviembre. Era una mujer fuerte, asombrosa y hermosa. Ella era desinteresada cuando se trataba de ayudar a otras personas necesitadas. Fue madre, esposa y abuela, pero en general, ¡fue una mujer excepcional! Sus esposo, 4 hijos y 8 nietos la aman y extrañan muchísimo, al igual que todos sus familiares y amigos que han tenido el regalo de conocerla. La familia Lomeli agradecería contribuciones para cubrir los gastos del funeral.
