Mercedes Imari Tavares

On December 11th 2022 Mercedes Tavares was one of the victims of the mass shooting that occurred on Central and School st. in Chicago. Mercedes leaves behind 3 beautiful children her 3 yr old son Jeremiah and 9 month old twins Nova and Elija. As you can imagine our family is devastated. While there is currently a go fund me out for the funeral expenses this one is specifically for her children. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Everyone who knew Mercedes knows that her babies were her world!! We would also like to thank everyone for your prayers and condolences and we ask that you continue to keep our family as well as the Vera family and Pozuelos family in your prayers.
