Mera Peak Challenge 6476m
Donation protected
Hey, I’m Mike, a wounded veteran from the Afghan campaigns, now working within the NHS as a devoted medic, helping those without training and support for resuscitation training.
I am currently volunteering with Little Life Savers in Essex, where I teach children CPR in schools. Along with another LLS volunteer, Dan, and six others, we will be climbing Mera Peak in Nepal to raise money for Little Life Savers.
Half of the funds we raise will also be donated to a Nepalese orphanage called Sertshang Home in Kathmandu, which cares for 20-30 children.
For 12 days in October, we will trek from Lukla to the summit of Mera Peak at 6,476 meters. For six members of the team, this will be their highest climb, and two others will ski down from the summit!
We are entirely self-funded and would never use charity money for trip costs. All proceeds will go to these noble causes.
Please help us raise money to support children both in the U.K. and Nepal.
Our team is a combination of military veterans, medics and civilians using a Nepalese guide and former Gurkha who has set up Gurkha Adventures in Kathmandu. (Mike, Mark, Mike B, Zane, Helen, Dan, Mitch, Kev).
