If you haven’t met him then you’ve most likely heard of him if not than you probably should. Tony Giallombardo “Tony G.” is one of the kindest and most giving men you will ever meet. In October 2014 Tony was told he had a large growth on his prostate. Tony, being the family man he is put off his biopsy to take care of obligations with his father. That being said he finally made it in to have his biopsy on Feb. 5th 2015. We received his bleak diagnosis Feb. 13 he has a very aggressive form of prostate cancer with a Gleason score of 8 which makes this a more advanced tumor stage, signifying a high risk for the cancer spreading to the lymph nodes. As of now we are not sure if the cancer has spread to other organs or bones he still has more rigerous testing to go through.
His nuclear bone scan & contrast CT scan will determine if the cancer has spread and both procedures have been scheduled.
The co-pay bills and medication for the procedures up to this point are at $6,000.00 and rising and as we all know will continue to increase.
Tony has a very supportive family including his fiancé Peggie (myself), his beautiful daughters Tia and her children, Tanya, his son in law Josh, his father Chuck, his sister Tina along with my son Quintin.
Tony also has the support of all his brothers. PFFP
Thanks to my lovely sister Dawn and her husband Kurt, Tony and I have been consulting with Dr. Kane the best Oncologists at UCSD where he will be receiving treatment at UCSD Moores Cancer Center.
We are understanding of the long tough road ahead for our loved one Tony G.
We will keep everyone updated after all tests as well as doctor’s appointment.
We would appreciate it if you could share this page with your friends and family.
We are extremely grateful and thank each and every one of you whole heartedly for your support and donations.
