Help Us Lay Our Beloved Mother to Rest

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this to ask for help. My mother, Donna Mccreery, sadly passed away on the 11th February. 

For a whole year, my mum battled with unwavering strength against the grip of lung cancer. Through countless doctor visits, treatments, and moments of exhaustion, she never lost her warmth, her kindness, or her love. Her courage was unmatched as she faced each day with a quiet resilience, holding on to the hope that somehow, she'd overcome it. There were days of pain, moments when the weight seemed too much, but she fought with a grace that inspired everyone around her. Even in her final days, she was surrounded by the love she had so freely given, a mother, a friend, a warrior.

She was the most loving mum, grandma, sister, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met. We’re devastated by her loss and trying to get through this incredibly painful time while also dealing with the unexpected expenses of laying her to rest.

Funeral costs can be overwhelming, and with everything happening so suddenly, we’re struggling to cover the expenses needed to honour her life in the way she truly deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and would help ease the financial burden of this difficult time. These funds will go toward funeral arrangements, burial costs, and any other related expenses.
