Hey there! My name is Maggie Mitzel — I’m a 23-year-old dreamer from Bismarck, North Dakota, now living in Arizona and pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Christian Counseling at Liberty University. By day, I work as a Registered Behavioral Technician, but my lifelong mission is much bigger: to create a safe space for young women to heal, connect, and thrive through mentorship, faith, and community.

Since the age of 17, I’ve felt called to speak out about life’s hard things—to empower women through vulnerability, sisterhood, and God’s grace. I began my pageant journey at 18 in Miss North Dakota USA, where I launched my platform: Mentorship Matters. This dream has grown into a bold vision for an app, podcast, and physical space where women can access Christian community, therapy resources, mentorship, fitness, and Bible studies.

Miss Arizona USA 2025 is my next step—not just to wear a crown, but to represent a cause. With your help, I can take this dream to a wider platform and pursue it full-time.

Why This Matters

I’ve battled anxiety, depression, ADD, and endured a major spinal fusion. I would not be where I am without Jesus, therapy, and mentorship—and I want every young woman to experience the same breakthrough.

I’ve already started leading a local girls' Bible study and am building a podcast around vulnerability, faith, and female empowerment. Winning Miss Arizona would allow me to expand this work and bring Mentorship Matters to life.
