I've been writing a book (Grief Surfing) for the past ten years and it's time to birth this book-baby! It started out as a blog called The Adult Orphan about parental loss, but the book has come to support all who have lost someone they love, and even those who want to prepare for those times. It's an honest, philosophical, quirky and transformational look at grief, full of activities, with the hope of helping many others ride those waves; after all, death is a part of life and it affects us all.
I have a publisher! But I need to raise £2k to take up support from a perfectly aligned hybrid publishing/mentorship model which will give me full creative and IP control. You can see it like a sponsorship donation for a marathon, only rather than running, I'm writing! Book will be printed and available to purchase in seven months' time.
I'm ready! Can you help me with this final push?
(Please don't elect to 'tip' gofundme when prompted, I'm already paying a small fee out of each donation for payment processing, so any tips can come to me if you really must!)
