I have a friend that I've known for 20 years. This woman is the bright light in every room, always upbeat, smiling, and would do anything for you. But lately, her bright light has dimmed. Her husband of 25 years not only has been lying and cheating but also has been, unbeknownst to her, not paying owed taxes. Once she had enough of his narcissism and filed for divorce, she uncovered heartbreaking news. She only wanted to keep her house and car but uncovered the past due taxes and unpaid property tax as well.
