Mental Health Wellness- Performing Arts & Arts
Donation protected
Hi my name is Jenetta Barry, Founder of World Jenny's Day
World Jenny’s Day (held each 10 October on World Mental Health Day) was established to use the Performing Arts and The Arts to normalise and soften conversations around depression suicide and their solutions.
The cause celebrates mental health wellness through providing solutions, rather than holding discussions/interviews with or about challenged people.
Each year World Jenny’s Day has grown exponentially, providing live and virtual events throughout the year and culminating with internationally live-on-line performances over 24 hours, streamed through USA Global TV and Radio Network on 10 Oct, which will feature - live - singers, actors, comedians, musicians, dancers etc performing from across the world.
A Gala Evening on the 10th is to be held in London – and will also be streamed live internationally – with key celebrities and artists associated with World Jenny’s Day, also performing.
All proceeds donated to World Jenny's Day, fund stage presentations and artistic performances as well as on-line presentations and workshops held throughout the year, to assist with depression.
All profits made during 2023 will contribute towards a world benevolent fund for performing artists and artists as well as assisting towards the 2024 planning, operating and performance/presentation costs that such a project entails.
As you can imagine as a fledgling Charity there are operating costs to establish all these events. Every £ donated will go towards assisting those who are feeling challenged by life.
