Mental Health - Save a life!!

My name is Ashley and I suffer from numerous mental illnesses. I’ve been through the system, hospitalized, suicidal, depressed, anxious, PTSD, bipolar, and BPD. I’m compliant and resources are hard. Expenses are even harder. Mental health system in American is severely lacking. I have searched for grants and financial assistance. No luck. Last resort. This is life saving. She has suffered for years undiagnosed dealing and suffering alone until now I’ve met her. Fortunately I have insurance. She does not. But she deserves the quality of a highly recognized psychiatrist who can actually provider a safe place, listen, display compassion, attention, dedication, patience, understanding and not just not another name or number in the system from federal or state funded programs as I have seen first hand. It’s sad and unfortunate. But I take mental health extremely serious. If not address and treated properly in time it can result in loss of life. I also know by first hand as im a suicide survivor of a loved one - my mother when I was 14. The damage is indescribable and unbearable. The grief of leaving loved ones behind is heartbreaking and does not remove pain but simply transfer - my example my mom and now myself. So I’m doing this for my best friend who I care deeply about. She needs the best possible help. Unfortunately Covid took away the job and source if Income and making things harder. No ride and little to no income for a quality provider is essential and priority!!!!
I hope that anywho who took the time to read my post related or understands the pain associated with mental illness and the daily struggles it inflicts on others. Tearing away slowly the soul they once had. Making it harder and harder to fight as you sink into darkness and possible end of life due to the unbearable pain that is invisible to those around. Please help save a life. Someone has to give a damn. I’m doing everything I can in my power and more as a fellow struggler myself.
