Hello - well this is kind of awkward. I'm thinking most of you that know me will find this hard to believe, some of you might think I am nuts, some might say this is brave , some might even think this isn't true but trust me, it is - whatever you conclude, I am in a unique situation and yes, I need help. Always hard for me to admit. My current situation stems from mental health issues due to being exposed to TOXIC BLACK MOLD. Yeah, you read that right.

I was exposed to the most toxic black mold there is about 2.5 years ago. At first, my conditions were physical, but now the long-term effects are mental. I did have a GoFundMe a few months ago to help fund my website. But now it is much more serious and scary. In the beginning of 2025, I was elated to find a new job. It was ideal - much closer to home and more pay than my previous job. A solid and prestigious company that has literally been in business for 100 years. As I started the job with great enthusiasm, I was challenged with learning the specifics of the software this company used. No problem, I have done that before. But as I got more training and then left to start working on my own, I found myself struggling. Same thing at home, I just wasn't "right." I am also facing a 2.5-year battle with insurance companies & my HOA regarding the mold situation, and it has all been nothing but stressful and depressing. The anxiety, stress, and depression started taking over my mind, which is a long-term effect of mold exposure. Mycotoxins in my system have really got to my mental capacity. Throw on financial hardship caused by the home situation, and my mind was all over the place. Will I lose my home? Can I handle this new job? WHAT SHOULD I DO??? In August of 2024 I passed out in a public establishment. I blacked out for about 5 minutes. Was sent to the hospital where they could find no dramatic cause - no heart attack, no stomach/digestive problems. After explaining my situation, they concluded it was in fact the mold exposure coupled with the depression, anxiety and stress it caused me.

I was so unbalanced and not able to learn the new job, it just made being there mentally impossible. I felt like I was going to jump out of my skin. I didn't have insurance at the time, so seeking help that way was not an option. On May 1, 2025, I had enough, and before having a complete nervous breakdown, I left the job. When I told my immediate supervisor, she told me, "You're not the same person we hired 4 months ago, we can see you're struggling in your life." So chalk it up to mental illness - and then unemployment denied me. They looked back to my previous job, which I HAD to leave because my "position was being dissolved."

So this might sound trivial to some of you, but remember, this is not the usual JE here. This mold exposure has completely changed my ability to work/learn. The depression just increases as time goes on, and now I am running out of money to pay bills like insurance, electric, etc. etc. ALL of this caused and magnified by mold exposure.....

So I am seeking help to get money to pay for everyday expenses. I only need enough to help me get through the end of the year because in December, my retirement claim will send my initial payment. I HATE doing this, I really do, but I have reached the end of my rope. The story is MUCH deeper, but you all would've never wanted to read ALL of it - I might make a video to lay out everything if need be. I'd appreciate ANY help you might be able to give. If you know someone, or yourself, that has been exposed to toxic black mold, you will have more of an understanding of what is going on here. If not, you can simply search for "long-term mental effects of black mold" and see what you find out......>

"Toxic mold-based illness is a very prevalent and underdiagnosed condition that can manifest in many different ways, including with symptoms that are exclusively psychiatric, such as depression, anxiety, attentional problems, brain fog, and insomnia."

It's no joke. Very difficult too because insurance, even if I had any, does not cover certain procedures that can help cure the mold problem. There is an IV type of treatment, and there is also an oxygen tent type of treatment. Both of those cost $10,000 each.

Any help is help - even if you can't give $, a kind word of encouragement would really help too - thank you.
