Mental Health Recovery and Debt
Hi my name is Lei and I am queer non binary black person.
I have experienced being bullied at school by students and targeted by teachers over racist hair poIicies. Im a domestic violence survivor who has not had the emotional, mental health support from family.
In my 20s I was given a diagnosis of EUPD. I am currently awaiting an further mental health assessment with Hatley Street Psychiatrist end of May.
Mental Health is just as disabling as a physical condition but more often over looked when it comes to support, especially financially.
I went from working full-time to part time and now not at all. During this time my finances were obviously a bit all over the place and unfortunately I have Council tax arrears, £600 has already gone to a debt collectors.
